From the launchpad
At last, I was able to launch the site. The effort for this was started in June when i spotted a beautiful image in flickr. It was a close up of a flower, a great macro. So bright was its colour that it made me think how beautiful cmnination would it make with green. I asked hte owner for her permission to use it for hte site and i dint have to wait long for the sanction.
Soon I started on this. I came up with the design. It was good enough for me. But it was then , my friends ask me to do something in flash, afterall they believed i can do better than this.
But flash has its own problems and i wanted my site to come up in search engines :)
So i decided to have a new trend. this was how this idea came up.
As I am not good in mending words for it , i thought of using famous quotes to fill the space up. THen it was a long way from htere.
Time was a major factor. Deciding which quote is appropriate for a page is another problem, and it got dragged. dragged Dragged and Draged. I wanted to close it Before November. Thats when the 1st B'day of my domain.
And Im lad that i could publish it around 3rd. I never expected it to be done by the time.
The first page was somthing that i wanted to do for long time. Hte butterfly animation. And some inspitaion from shrek to make the swaying tall grass. THere is a small dragon fly in hte main page. its so cute. and well animated i believe. Its less visible coz its far away. Watch for it.
The second page. Hte birdies.They are programmed to coem and go at random time. no one will notice though. :)THe sunset was a final edition . Added after Beta version.
Third page is like by most. The underwater animation is good. Some compaints were arise from hte way sea horse vanishes. i have to makeup for that. The tone of blue is great. I had to go back to Nemo to watch and see wats happening underwatrer and how the lighting are to be done. How the corels are coloured are all inspired from the Finding Nemo Movie
My works page. I din't bother to make it look lie the other pages. afterall it was something to be done quickly. May be 2 days before release. so i have to be happy with wat I have done.
And the leaves. I spent around 3 hours for the animation. possible ways to imitate the leaves texture movement etc. Rain was already with me. And the droplets are one to watch out for. I love them ;))
